The hotel was a bit overpriced for a basic double room 3 miles outside the centre of Brighton, and not having the option for breakfast was a downside. However, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable despite not being soundproof as advertised.

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were really nice and very comfortable, but unfortunately, they were dirty including bugs on the bed and in the bathroom. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff, but the location was described as filthy with overflowing ashtrays. The lack of dining options was a downside, but the atmosphere of the Pub and Hotel was wonderful.

The hotel was not what I expected. The rooms had a strong smell of bleach and were dirty, with dead bugs on the bed and window seal. The toothbrush holder in the bathroom was not clean. Moreover, the room was ridiculously overpriced for its size and amenities, which was disappointing.

The service of this WONDERFUL Pub and Hotel was excellent. The very friendly owner and staff were helpful and accommodating during my stay, making it a pleasant experience.
